Day 20 | A Letter to Myself

Sharing is caring!

Day 20:

Dear Jennifer,

I am so proud of you.

I know that 2018 has been difficult, your husband was away at training for majority of it, you received Jaxson’s diagnosis, lost friendships, and moved to a new location.

Let it be

As a military brat and now spouse you lose and gain a lot of friendships over the years. There are some that can withstand the test of time and then there are others that can’t. Like the Beatles say:

Let it be.

You have a lot going on with juggling Jaxson’s therapies, specialists, JJ’s homework, school functions, school work, and other day to day tasks. Don’t burden yourself with trying to rekindle friendships. Friendship is a two way street.

When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be, and in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be

Be patient

I know you’re not one for patience but you need to work on it when it comes to your oldest son JJ. He is acting out and seeking attention because you’ve been so busy shuffling his little brother around to therapy and doctor appointments.

He doesn’t understand why but he will when he gets older. So for the time being, be patient.

It’s a marathon

Blogging is a marathon. Don’t be discouraged by seeing other blogger’s reports, sponsored posts, and followers. You’ve been blogging since June of this year and you have come a long way.

Keep it up, don’t give up. You will get there.
