Please introduce yourself and your blog to my readers.
My name is Thomas and my blog is Parents Plus Kids. The goal of Parents Plus Kids is to be a resource for moms and dads expecting a baby to moms and dads taking care of a toddler. It follows the journey and the learning me and my wife are in as we’re first time parents.
When did you begin your blogging journey?
While Parents Plus Kids is a relatively new blog. I actually started my blogging journey over a year ago when I launched my first blog nursemoneytalk.com.
Can you describe your blogging style?
I would say my blogging style is research based but easy to understand. I want to show you sources that back what I’m saying but not go to the extreme where my reader thinks I’m talking over them.
What type of networking do you think is better to grow your audience?
I would probably say Pinterest.
What was your greatest failure and how did you overcome it?
The thought that immediately comes to mind is blogging success. I’m fine tuning what I’m doing and still plan on turning it into a success.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time if I’m not hanging out with my wife and son or friends. I’m writing for my blog.
What is your least favorite post, and why?
My least favorite post is definitely the first blog article I ever wrote on nursemoneytalk.com. That post is still up. Actually now that I’m thinking about it I really should go clean it up. When I first wrote the post I didn’t know anything about SEO, writing or image design.
What is the biggest trends in your niche?
I think one of the bigger trends is health family. There’s more emphasis being put on healthy foods and families being active.
What are some things people don’t know about you?
As surprising as it might be most people I know don’t know I have a blog.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
Monday through Friday it’s work => hang out with the family => write for a little bit => dinner => hangout with the family some more =>and than bed.
