Here are the Best Platforms to Make Money as an Influencer

AmbassadHer

AmbassadHer is a community with over 500k influencers who complete tasks and are rewarded for it. I like AmbassadHer because unlike the other platforms, you don’t need to have a large Social Media following!

Most of their campaigns require you to make purchases on a third-party page and write a review or take photos in-store with a product–then you’re reimbursed / paid.

Other platforms like to categorize you based on your follower count, whether you are a “nano-influencer”, “micro-influencer” or “macro-influencer” so they can figure out how much to charge businesses. However, we don’t believe your worth is dictated by your follower count or appearance but rather that you are authentic and have your own unique point of view.

Activate Social

My first influencer campaigns have been through Activate Social. I have yet to land a sponsored blog post (where they pay you to write), but I have landed a few diaper campaigns.

That was when I was very new to blogging so as you can see if you meet some criteria, you can review diapers.

Amazon Influencer

Did you know that you could be an Amazon Influencer as well? I am an Affiliate for Amazon and signed up as an Influencer separately. If you don’t get enough traffic to your Influencer Store, they will close it.

But don’t worry, if they do shut it down from lack of traffic you can reactive it very easily. It’s not like the Affiliate Program where you have to re apply.

All you have to do is make sections, for example I have:

You can cater it to your niche as well. Very simple.

Brand Backer

Brand Backer is a great platform for new bloggers and influencers as well. When I was first starting out I was able to land a campaign for Yardley Soaps. They loved my photo so much they even shared it on their Instagram.

What does that mean for you? Exposure! It can help you land other campaigns and even sponsored posts with other brands.

My Final Thoughts

I’m sure you are here because you want to make a living blogging, right? Totally doable! Blogging in itself is a full-time job, do not give up. I’ll admit I get discouraged at times but like all great things, it takes time.

You can make a living as a blogger, you just have to believe in yourself and work hard. Don’t listen to the nay-sayers. You’ve got this!

  1. I’ve used some of these and they are perfect starting points! Trick is to only take on a few at a time otherwise you will be slamming your head against the wall. Great list, I hope it helps someone who is just starting out!

  2. I’ve been blogging for over a year now and have actually had amazing luck monetizing my blog. The Amazon Influencer program really didn’t make sense to me when I heard about it, but I am going to have to check out the AmbassadHer. Thanks for these ideas!

    1. I haven’t made money as an Amazon Influencer but I am steadily making money as an affiliate. I’ll have to continue sharing my Influencer page, maybe that’s why I’m not getting sales yet! LOL. But you’re welcome about AmbassadHer, I love how they accept everyone and anyone with their campaigns.
